The hall leads into the living room, where the floor is made from eight inch wide solid pine, and a large antique oak beam to the lower ceiling creates a very warm and cosy feel. A hand made antique brick fire place houses a very large Franklin stove which can be used as an open fire or a stove as it has two bi-folding doors. A pine unit for television and matching pine DVD shelves are fitted to the alcove to the left of the Fireplace. Between the living room and the master bedroom there is a built-in study area with book shelves above, perfect for computer equipment or home office use.The room is lit with black iron wall lamps and there is a large storage heater for additional or alternative warmth. The two windows give views of the cottage garden and mountains.
