Front Walled Garden
The front garden was walled using the stone from the original house; this hand-built traditional wall also acts as a planter. A range from the old house remains on the grounds acting now as a cherished garden feature. The garden has three small gates one leading to the front lawn and one to each end of the cottage. There are gravel pathways to the gates and to the front door of the house, an antique brick patio area with a cast iron table and chairs and a limestone flag pathway leading to a bench area. There are two areas laid to lawn, flower beds to the front wall of the house and further flower beds to the external walls.
